FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to what people ask most about Ficus hedges, sizing, and installation.

How fast do Ficus hedges grow?
Once established, Ficus Nitida typically puts on 2–3 feet of vertical growth per year in Southern California. Starter trees planted at 6 ft often reach 10–12 ft within two seasons with proper watering and care.
What sizes of Ficus trees do you sell?
We grow and deliver everything from 5-gallon starter Ficus up through 15 ft+ mature specimen trees. Most privacy hedge installs use trees between 6 ft and 12 ft tall.
How much does a Ficus privacy hedge cost?
Pricing depends on tree size, quantity, and how far the delivery is. Because we're the grower, our pricing is wholesale-direct. Call (747) 353-3622 or email jay.ayala444@gmail.com with photos of your space for a quote.
Do you deliver and plant, or just sell the trees?
Both. We sell wholesale to landscape contractors and homeowners, and we also handle full installs — delivery, planting, staking, and cleanup — from start to finish.
What areas do you serve?
We serve Los Angeles County, Riverside County, and Orange County, including Beverly Hills, Calabasas, Hollywood Hills, Pasadena, Long Beach, Anaheim, Irvine, Riverside, Corona, Temecula, Palm Springs, and surrounding cities.
How close should I plant Ficus trees for a privacy hedge?
For a solid privacy wall, we typically plant Ficus 3 ft apart center-to-center. Closer spacing fills in faster; wider spacing saves on tree count but takes longer to close up.
Will Ficus roots damage my pool, foundation, or sewer line?
Ficus roots can be aggressive. We'll advise on safe distances from pools, foundations, and main lines based on your specific site — and root barriers are an option in tight installs.
Do you offer ongoing maintenance?
Yes. We can take care of trimming and shaping for hedges we've installed, and we provide care guidance so your hedge stays dense and healthy long-term.
